MARCELA SANCHEZ
Marcela was born in Argentina and she became interested in
cake decorating when she was 13 years old, working with her
mother.
A few years later she teamed up with the famous Argentine
Cake decorator Marta Ballina, and they worked together
successfully for more than ten years - Marta Ballina had a cake
decorating school, with more than 1500 students every year,
and were involved in many of TV Shows as well as producing
Magazines.
In Brazil, in 1996, Marcela started developing her own special
techniques and soon became a national reference point for
cake decorators. She set up her own school and also made
her own Magazine that reached a circulation of 42000 per
month. A few years later she started to develop the first "ready
to use" sugar paste in Brazil, resulting in a full and successful
line of sugar products for cake decorating. Since 2001, Marcela
has gained an international reputation for her outstanding work.
She won a "Best in Show" award at The Stoneleigh Exhibition
(2004) with her beautiful Bride figurine, and won others
International Awards.
Since 1995, Marcela focused more on developing her own
product line MS Products with a new sugar paste, royal icing,
pastillage and of course the "sugar silk" paste and "flower paste"
that she introduced in England at Cake 2005 last November,
in Birmingham. She demonstrated her skills on the CelCakes
Stand and then held her first UK classes, near York. In 2006,
this product line has been successfully introduced in Brazil and
United Sates.
MS Products has also developed a full line of
exclusive Cake tools and is the representative of Celcakes and
Pachwork products in Brazil.
In 2006, Marcela has been the International Guest of The NEC
Cake Show in Birmingham and hold her first classes in
United States.
In April 2007, Marcela, and her team, hold the first Cale show in Brazil the MS Trophy's -
www.mstrophy.com.br with more that 400 people at the convention and 85 works on the competition. MS Products also started to ditribute the JEM Cutters, PME and FMM Products in Brazil.
In 2008 whe expect more than 800 people at the convention and up to 250 works on the competition.
